July 15, 2025 Last July 12, 2025, Makati High School hosted a transformative workshop focused on Integrating Khan Academy in the Classroom to Improve Learning Outcomes. LATEST NEWS Schools Division Office of Makati City Conducted the Capacity Building for SDO Personnel on Continuous Improvement (CI) Methodologies June 30, 2025 To carry out the mandate of the Department of Education to achieve its goals and objectives, the Schools Division Office of Makati City conducted the Capacity Building for SDO Personnel on Continuous Improvement (CI) Methodologies on June 26, 2025, at the SDO-Makati Multipurpose Hall.The activity aims to capacitate the SDO Personnel to streamline its processes for an efficient delivery of basic education services. Continuous Improvement (CI) is a methodology which continually assesses, analyzes, and acts on the improvement of key process focusing both on the customer needs and the desired performance. CI helps division offices and schools select and implement initiatives that align with the DepEd’s strategic objectives. Ms. Ma. Evalou Concepcion A. Agustin, Schools Division Superintendent graced the said event together with Dr. Rosalie A. Trongco, Chief ES, School Governance and Operations Division and Mr. Michael M. Mercado, OIC-Chief ES, Curriculum Implementation Division. Participants to this activity are the select personnel from the CID, SGOD and OSDS.Mr. Raynan R. Marcelo, Senior Education Program Specialist for Planning and Research and one of the CI Practitioners of the SDO facilitated the training-workshop. A PRIME- HRM Bronze Awardee is an organization recognized for its outstanding human resource management practices. PRIME HRM stands for Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management, an initiative by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) to promote excellence in HR management among government agencies and instrumentalities . To become a Bronze Awardee, an organization must demonstrate compliance with civil service laws, rules, and regulations, as well as meet specific maturity levels in four core HRM areas: 1. Recruitment, Selection, and Placement (RSP) – Ensuring fair and transparent hiring processes.2. Learning and Development (L&D) – Providing training and development opportunities for employees.3. Performance Management (PM) – Establishing clear performance standards and evaluating employee performance.4. Rewards and Recognition (R&R) – Recognizing and rewarding employees for outstanding performance.
